Operations Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Operations Intern to support the day-to-day running of the business. This role spans operational coordination and IT support, making it ideal for someone who is comfortable working across both people and systems. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, gaining broad exposure that is rarely available this early in a career.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations

  • Support the smooth execution of day-to-day operational activities across the business.
  • Coordinate schedules, track task progress, and follow up on open items across teams.
  • Assist in documenting processes, standard operating procedures, and internal workflows.
  • Help organize team events and manage general office administration.
  • Support cross-functional projects by keeping things moving and flagging blockers early.
  • Assist other supporting functions such as HR and finance as and when needed.

 

IT Support

  • Provide first-line IT support to the team, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for device procurement, repairs, and service engagements.
  • Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding of team members, including device setup, access provisioning, and account management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of company devices and software licenses.
  • Support the administration of productivity tools, communication platforms, and cloud services used across the business.
  • Research and recommend tools or process improvements to enhance operational and IT efficiency.
  • Assist with IT security hygiene, ensuring the team stays aligned with company device and access policies.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working with computers and troubleshooting everyday tech issues.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks without losing track of the details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Proficient with office productivity tools such as
  • Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
    Familiarity with project management or ticketing tools is an advantage.
  • A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in how businesses operate behind the scenes.
